About RateUSD
Live global currency rates in USD, published with the source and timestamp attached to every number.
What this site is
RateUSD is an information service. It shows what one currency is worth in another according to published reference data, explains where that data came from, and stops there. There are no accounts, no wallets, no order tickets and no payments anywhere on the site.
Where the numbers come from
Rates are retrieved from public exchange-rate data providers. Every page that displays a rate also displays the provider name, the rate type, and the publication time in UTC. If a provider does not publish a particular pair or a daily change, the page says so instead of filling the gap with an estimate.
What a reference rate is not
Reference rates are informational benchmarks. They are not offers to transact. Banks, card networks, exchange bureaux and remittance companies add spreads and fees, so the rate you are actually given will differ — usually against you. Read the full disclaimer.
How we build pages
Each currency pair gets a dedicated, permanent URL such as /usd-to-eur, with its own converter, chart, conversion tables and currency background. Pages are server-rendered so they load fast and read correctly without JavaScript-dependent content shifting under you.
