RateUSD is designed to need as little about you as possible.
No accounts, no personal data
There is no sign-up, no login and no profile on RateUSD. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment details or identity documents, and we do not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
Technical logs
Like any website, requests to our servers may be logged for security, abuse prevention and reliability purposes. Such logs can include IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp, and are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
Local storage
Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party data providers
Exchange-rate data is fetched by our servers from third-party providers. Those requests originate from our infrastructure, not from your browser, so providers do not receive your IP address as a result of your visit.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page. Continued use of the site after publication constitutes acceptance.
